Flysurfer teamriders Yusca Balogh, Peter Muller, Lennart van Schuilenburg & videographer Nick de Bruijn travelled to one of the worlds best snowkiting spots: Col du Lautaret in the French Alps in January 2010.

Packed with bags full of video- & photogear, ( mainly Canon 7D ) some snowboards and a dozen of Psycho4 and Speed3 kites they were ready to prepare for the upcoming SnowKiteMasters ‘10 World Championships and get their snowkiting skills a level higher.

Red Bull Ragnarok 2010 Snowkite

The participant event Red Bull Ragnarok will select up to 200 riders from all over the world to race for 3 hours; 6 rounds of approximately 30 minutes each, stretching from 10-20km. After each round, if not already given up voluntarily, a number of snow-kite heroes will be eliminated. The name "Ragnarok" stems from an incident in Norse mythology, describing the last battle between the good and evil Gods, where only the heroes of the battlefield survive. North Trust Bar Quad Control – Security update

Unfortunately, North Kiteboarding have found out that if the fifth line is very dirty above the metal ring (e.g. if it is soiled with sandand salt) it may not slip up as easily as it should and therefore delay the depower effect of the Iron Heart III. However, this problem is easy to solve. Check out the video too see out to fix it.
