The organization of the second stage of PKC, the South Store Kitesurf, decided to cancel the competition due to the forecast for the next weekend.

Next weekend, on 28 th and 29 th of June, the second stage of PKC, will take place in Faro.

The event of Viana do Castelo, organized by Viana Locals and APKITE, was a success with lot wind, audience and athletes.

Course Racing

The course racing took place on Saturday with winds around 20/25 knots. Four races were made and it took 30 minutes for the first contestant to finish the course.

In the weekend of 21 and 22 of July in Viana do Castelo will take place the first stage of the Portuguese Kitesurf Championship.

The event will be organized by Viana Locals and Apkite. And will count for the freestyle and race championships.

The best portuguese competitors will be there and in 2008 the canpionship will have a new start, Rui Meira (5th in 2007 Pkra) will compete on the Portugusese Tour.

During the championship there will be a workshop with Noelia Nunez, Naish spanish rider.
