It was great to experience the conditions of the wind & the changing format of the Event.
Very nice to see all the riders from all over the Globe challenging the not so usual Maui wind Patterns. It was so interesting to see all the riders style & how the surf judging was applied. Too Bad the Single Dingle Change in format from standard Double Elimination was applied in the middle of the event. Many Top riders were upset as the format change eliminated them and their chances increasing their world class rankings but, overall the the event was super fun and came together as the wind & waves finally joined.
Hope to see Similar Events to this in the future.
