The PKRA is thrilled to announce the next three upcoming events for the 2014 World Tour. These include the Dakhla Kiteboarding World Cup, Mondial Du Vent, and the Surf World Cup Podersdorf. The Dakhla Kiteboarding World Cup will take place in Dakhla, Morrocco, March 18th-23rd and will include a mix of Freestyle and Wave competition. Standing out as the first wave event of the 2014 season, competitors will be treated to a perfect right hand point break along with steady strong winds, and paradise-like surroundings in each discipline. This event is hosted by the Dakhla Attitude Camp Lagoon for the 4th straight year and the freestyle action will, as expected, be the main attraction of the event, drawing in the best riders in the world and local talent of the area.

Next up in April, the Mondial Du Vent will go off yet again as one of the most watched and well-attended events of the season. Enjoying its 18th year, the Mondial Du Vent stands out as the longest running kiteboarding competition in the world – and with good reason. The incredibly strong winds and challenging conditions always provide for an amazing showcase of talent. This event will take place from April 26th – May 1st in La Franqui, Leucate, France and will include Freestyle as the main competition discipline.

Lastly, the Surf World Cup Podersdorf will run May 1st-May 4th in Nordstrand, Podersdorf Neusiedlersee, Austria. This will be the first Slalom stop of the year and, as such, will be a huge attraction for racing fans and competitors alike. This massive festival draws thousands of spectators each year, which will provide for major exposure and large-scale attention for this exciting new discipline.
