The first Danish wake style event, Slide ‘n’ Ride, took place from the 30 April to 2 May 2010 in Copenhagen. During this weekend some of the best national and international riders hit the kickers and sliders at the brown lagoon.

This is one of those events where the riders vote together and they decide who should win. A total of 20 participants from across northern Europe were judged and the overall winner was Jan Schiegnitz.
