The 2011 European Junior Freestyle Kitesurfing Championships have been completed in Saint-Pierre-la-Mer, in France. In three days, the most promising kiteboarders of the old continent have showed why they’re going to beat the experienced rider, in the near future.

There were wind riders from Holland, France, UK, Spain and even South Africa. All contestants were split into three age categories: 16-19, 14-15 and 9-13 years. Judges and spectators were impressed. Watch the highlights, here.

The new generations of kitesurfers tries the impossible moves. The Bridge brothers will dominating the world of kitesurfing. Tom, Guy and Oliver Bridge had even time to battle against each other. Oliver, 13, wanted to join the 14-15 division but was not allowed.

So he had to compete against Tom, 10, in the final heat. The underpowered conditions were better for Tom who performed a variety of switch and regular handle pass combinations, while also managing to stay well in the box.

Tom secured a third place in the new Boarder Cross discipline. Patrick Blanc, a Spanish rider, was the grand winner of the 14-15 class.
