Dimitri Maramenides published some information about the new Epic Kites.
In their debut year they will have 3 models:

THE SCREAMER 7/9/12/14
Designed by legendary rider Dimitri Maramenides this is the ultimate weapon for big jumps, hang time, and unhooked moves. If you’re interested in jumping higher, riding faster and escalating every level of your kite surfing experience, then the Screamer is what you want to ride. This is the kite for those that will accept nothing less than excellence in all categories. The experienced rider will enjoy the top end competition ready performance the Screamer gives. While the intermediate notices the fast re-launch and effortless turning that makes kiting easier for them. Thus making the 2010 Screamer the “ALL ACCESS” kite for any scene. From racing to hang time to unbelievable pop and incredible turning speed, this kite delivers. Whether your goal is to win competitions or just take your riding to the next level, the Screamer is the kite you have been looking for.

THE SCREAMER Limited Edition 10 meter only
The Screamer Limited Edition is an extremely powerful kite. It has the same design characteristics as the Screamer but will have the power of a 11.5 meter kite. This kite will be good for heavier riders that are looking for a kite to fill the wind range between moderate and light but, don’t want to pull out a very large kite. For lighter riders, this will be the largest kite they need if they ride a surfboard in the lighter winds but, then switch to a twin when the wind picks up.

The kite everyone will be talking about is a new freestyle/wave kite put into one. The Renegade kite combines the best of both worlds. The turn of the kite increases in power throughout the arc by pivoting off of the wing tip. This makes for powered kite loops unlike anything on the market. You need a kite that helps you find this nirvana, one that takes you to a new level and pushes the limits of what is possible for waves, wake style, and powered moves. With 100% depower and incredible stability the Renegade leads in all categories of riding. Smooth lively and responsive steering makes it the ideal kite for surfing and a blast to ride in any condition.

We decided to come up with only one bar to have for your whole quiver. We trimmed the kites around the 50cm bar so it will fit each size in the either style, Screamer or Renegade. The bar has a Push Away release system that will allow totally safety of the rider. This is a 4 line bar with the Easy Kill Switch System that will depower the kite if you bail during moves, hooked in or unhooked, and have the kite waiting to re-launch whenever you are ready.

As a rider, we all know that the little things can make the difference between and epic session and a frustrating session. That is why we created a joint venture with Blade kite to come up with what we think is the safest and easiest to use bar on the market.

The focal point of the bar assembly is the innovative Swivel Dome which combines the key features and functionality of the chicken loop and safety release into one piece. As opposed to other bars using metal pieces, the Swivel Dome is assembled using only tough plastic and flexible materials, which won’t corrode, or breakdown.

Using hi-tech safety systems and an innovative grip design, the EPIC bar is guaranteed to be the safest and most comfortable accessory to your kiting experience.

We believe that their first public appearance will be at the Kiteboard Tour Asia.
Stay tuned on Kitemovement, we will bring you all the news about it.
