Hydroflex – Hi-Tech Composite Skateboards

5 October 2013 | 12:55 pm

There is nothing better than skateboarding as a complementary kitesurfing exercise. We have already tried a few different skateboard designs but now we are really super stoked about the new Hydroflex – Hi Tech composite skateboards that are light, strong & waterproof.

Only a few were made for now and they look really fantastic. They are being built from leftover materials from surfboard manufacturing process; with foam, fiber and resin. The design incorporates the retro style of the foam decks from the late 70s with the latest in composite technology. We mixed up the technology of the 21st century and some really good looking colors to create our decks.

The creators of this special skateboard design build surfboards in Oceanside, California and this is where they plan to set up the skateboard production as well. It will all happen but your help is needed as they still miss half of the sum needed for funding this awesome idea.

Check out they profile on Kickstarter to find out more about these awesome skateboards and get involved as a backer. There are some serious prizes for everyone who helps these guys, from virtual high-fives to custom made, exclusive skateboards.

There are three different models of skateboards all of them with unique colors, light and waterproof and hand planes. They are fully tested and ready to be produced, all made from leftovers from surfboards production.

So don’t think twice and support this awesome idea! We are all in!
