Nemesis NXG: Product Quality Notification

24 October 2009 | 7:50 am

During routine sample checking of selected in-use Nemesis NXG kites, we have identified a possible construction irregularity in certain kites sold prior to October 15th, 2009. This irregularity can lead to reduced low wind performance in some production versions of the 6m, 8m, 9m, 10m and 12m sizes. Affected kites display unfavorable back stall characteristics in light wind. The high wind performance of these kites is unaffected by this issue.

In our ongoing effort to provide exceptional products and exceptional service at exceptional prices, Best Kiteboarding is notifying all dealers and customers of this issue. While it is impossible for us to determine which specific kites are affected, we are offering all customers the opportunity to return their Nemesis NXG for a new replacement kite if they feel that they have an affected version.

We ask that all customers who wish to order a replacement contact the retailer from which they purchased their kite prior to November 15th, 2009. After this date we will assume that any remaining customers are satisfied with the performance of their kites and do not wish to replace them under this offer.

To help make this procedure as fast and efficient as possible, we will replace only the actual kite. Therefore, you should not return your bag, pump, accessory repair kit or any other part of the original package. You will be required to turn in your existing kite, but not until the replacement kite is ready for pick up. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee that you will receive a kite of an identical color pattern.

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused. As always, we will do whatever it takes to ensure that we provide you with the best performing kites on the market!

For more details contact your Best Kiteboarding representative or retailer directly.
