New Xenon Boards

17 November 2013 | 12:00 am

Xenon recently released their new range of boards for 2014 and it seems that they are really great. New construction, new design. We can’t wait to try them out on the water.

You probably know Laluz that has been Xenon’s flagship board. The 2014 model has been completely redesigned. It rides smoother, pops harder, and it’s lighter and stronger than ever!

New materials and hydrodynamic science combined with the new hull shape and proven outline gives spectacular upwind abilities, great grip and top speed resulting in explosive pop. Landing capabilities are softer and easier than ever. Thinner sidewall gives an extra bite and control over the board.

Sizes: 129 x 40 132 x 40 135 x 41 138 x 42

The Rayo is synonymous with allround performance for all conditions and all levels. Just as Laluz the new Rayo has totally new construction but it still remains the most rider-friendly board in Xenon range. This board will surely propel you to the next level. This board is easy to make progress on and fun to ride no matter the conditions.

The pop is very accessible and the bigger sizes in the range with great upwind abilities and fast planing characteristics are a great choice for low wind freestyle.

Sizes: 130 x 40 134 x 41 137 x 42 145 x 44

Infra still holds the place of the hardest charging board in Xenon’s twintip range. This board is made for the freestylers who seek maximum pop. This one is the favorite board of the world’s champion in freestyle, Andy Yeats.

Infra is unquestionably the stiffest and the most aggressive board in Xenon’s range. The 2014 model has been made even stiffer and strengthened in comparison to 2013 board so you can pop higher and ride faster than ever.

Sizes: 133 x 40 136 x 41 139 x 41

There are also two boards especially designed for waves: Prisma is an all-round, excellent, high-end board for experienced riders which is so rider-friendly that even rookies and those who just begin playing with wave riding and strapless freestyle tricks will definitely have fun.

Vidra is a high-performance board for intermediate and professional riders who ride strapped or strapless in all conditions. It’s snappy but easy to ride at the same time, feels more like a traditional short surfboard.

So whether you are a freestyler or wave aficionado you will find something for yourself within Xenon 2014 range. Great designs and ultimate construction. These boards are really awesome. You can find out more about the boards in here.
