TAP launches campaign for transportation of kitesurfing and windsurfing equipment that will be available in travel to the island of Sal in Cape Verde

The Island of Sal, appreciated by lovers of water sports, was the destination chosen by TAP to launch a promotional campaign aimed at passengers who want to carry Kitesurfing and Windsurfing equipment.

Thus, between April 12 and 30 October 2010 (excluding the period from July 1 to August 31), the material of Kitesurfing and Windsurfing is carried by 50 euros per journey.

For other destinations TAP, the values to apply to the transportation of this equipment are as follows (prices per route, per 10Kg, for equipment with more than 150cm/59 inches):

Kitesurfing
38 EUR – Europe and Domestic flights
75 EUR – Intercontinental

Windsurfing
100 EUR – Europe and Domestic flights
170 EUR – Intercontinental

For small equipment (up to 150 cm/59 inches) shipping is free, if not exceed the free baggage allowance per passenger. If you exceed, for each 10 kg, will be charged the amount above.

The transportation of equipment or KiteSurf Windsurfing requires signing a “Declaration of transport” passengers.
