Approvals have been granted for the WAKSA Charity Downwinder 2010, again in support of Redkite – supporting journey.

This year the event will be held on Sunday 5th December 2010 and will follow last year’s course from either Leighton or City Beach. This year, the shorter leg will commence at south City Beach rather than near the Floreat groyne.

WAKSA will arrange appropriate transport and on shore back up as with last year’s event, including the traditional sausage sizzle, as well as a prize presentation at the conclusion of the event.

We encourage all local and regular Scarborough/Brighton/Floreat kiters to attend to this downwind and support this cause
