In early February 2012, Kirsty Jones organised a trip to explore the Cape Verdian Islands with local, and current world champion, Airton Cozzolino.
Where she spent time living in a ethnic tent, a five star yacht and a surf hostil in areas of cape verde not on the beaten track. What followed was a 2 week lifestyle surf trip with some stunning scenery.
