Davey Blair, was born in Mount Pleasant and he is currently living in Dominican Republic. He is and always have been an outdoor type. When Davey Blair was in the second grade, the principal called his father to report that Davey was having a hard time learning to read and write and with “being a normal student.” His father, David Blair, responded that there was nothing wrong with Davey. After all, the boy could navigate a boat, without instruction, to and from the C2 buoy marking the channel for Charleston Harbor miles off the coast.

Beyond surfing, wakeboarding and kiteboarding, Davey Blair also is a skateboarder. At 28, he’s already had a life full of adventure. “I had a hard time being in school,” says Davey Blair. “I liked being outside. I always wanted to be doing something active and fun. I’m paying for it today because my spelling is not up to par, but I like being outside.”
