A team of 6 will be leaving on this journey on 21st of December- the day on which the Maya’s say a New World will start. The whole trip will be captured in a documentary. Everyone will surf for 4 hours a day, while the others follow on a yacht. The team will take the Southern Route, from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean. On this route favorable gulf streams and trade winds will turn the event into the Worlds’ Longest Downwinder. 11 days later, right on time for a New Years Eve they are set to land on Carribean.
