Raquel Lima was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. She kitesurfs since 2002 and works as a kitesurfing instructor since 2006.

This is what she says about herself “My name is Raquel Lima and I have a passion for living life to the fullest. Kitesurfing is my addiction and profession. If you can’t find me at Kite Beach in Maui, I’m probably out surfing, paddle boarding, hiking, rollerblading, or walking with my dogs. Every winter, I make sure to take a trip to a snow covered mountain where I can shred down the hill on my snowboard. Not many can keep up with me.”
