Kapp det gode håp(p)

7 May 2014 | 2:56 am

Kapp det gode håp(p) means in Norwegian the Cape of Goof Hope. In 1488 it was called Cabo das Tormentas(“Cape of Storms”) by Portuguese explorer Bartolomeu Dias and since then the Cape of Good Hope has been of special significance to sailors, many of whom refer to it simply as “the Cape.” Today it is also an important spot for kitesurfers. Check out the coldwater edit showing of one of many amazing places in South Africa.
