Based in London Kieron Jansch is a filmmaker, kite maker and creative videographer specialising in micro and small crew productions.

While learning the craft of filmmaking the Kieron’s work has reflected his fascination with powerkiting and kitemaking; productions for Flexifoil International, Snowkiter and NABX, amongst others, have allowed Kieron to combine his love of exploration with the discipline of learning and creating.

This movie is about a kite Kieron started making back in October 2010 and fresh from finishing the last in Calvin & Hobbes series. Of the plethora of choices Family Guy stood out head & shoulders above the rest. It seemed perfect for a kite.

The image Kieron decided to adapt? A scene in which Lois, dressed in fetish gear, says “the safe world is Banana”, before smacking Peter, fully bedecked in a leather gimp outfit, in the mouth. Great for one side of a kite; but what of the other? Quagmire: who better to be on the reverse of the kite, watching Lois & Peter at play?. The basis of the work? Brand new 12m Manta M3. We hope you enjoy the making of this piece of flying work.
