Luke Whiteside and Nicky Rudd win the 5th stop of the British Kitesurfing
The 5th stop of the British Kitesurfing tour in Scotland was a big success, all the categories where completed. On the first day of Kiteival the Men and Woman’s pros went ahead.
In the woman’s Hannah Whiteley finally got knocked of the top spot making way for Nicky who grabbed 1st throwing down a nice back to blind and switch and regular railey to blind. She was stoked as she has had to get over some injuries this summer!
There was a lot more riders registered for the pro men’s this time so it was going to be tough. Dan Sweeney got his first ever podium, he was ripping – he has been improving a lot this year throwing down a lot of Technical moves. The final ended up being a battle between Ned Taylor and me again as Dan had a lot of crashes. It was a close one, Ned had a lot of Switch tricks but I managed to come out on top nailing some nice technical tricks.
The results:
Men’s pros:
1st – Luke Whiteside
2nd-Ned Taylor
3rd -Dan Sweeney
Woman’s pros:
1st – Nicky Rudd
2nd- Hannah Whiteley
3rd – Sukie Robinson
It’s all down to the Final stop In Blackpool!
