Cabo Verde is a land of music, a mix between African rythms and its own original island styles. It is also the land of the Carnaval in the month of February. Another Brazilian influence can be found in the martial/dance art of capoeira.
Cabo Verde, the island of Sal, the city of Santa Maria, the local people, showed us a rich culture that we want to share with you. Bem Vindo no Cabo Verde!

Chapter 6 – TALKING TO MITU

World Wave Champ 2008 Mitu Monteiro talks to us about his passion for kiting in waves, but also freestyling or strapless riding. In this 3minutes interview several subjects are covered, Mitu reviews his beginning as a bodyboarder, his life as a waterman, the reasons why he competes, the importance of respecting the environment and the ocean.
