Self Rescue

12 March 2012 | 4:53 pm

This is something every kitesurfer should know. Self rescue. In this short video Dave and Mike from Kitethrills in Caloundra, Australia guide us through the steps of a sucesfull self rescue.

Their idea is to get people practicing deploying their safety systems so that when they really need it they won’t hesitate. Great initiative and much needed nowadays. Be smart, pratice self rescue.

Just a quick tip for all of us: remember to check your gear regularly as the moving parts associated with them can get jammed if clogged with foreign matter.
