The Waterlust Project

3 March 2012 | 3:16 am

A series of short films called “The Waterlust Project” that explore our relationships with water.
They are shot entirely using GoPro Hero 2 cameras and the Blurfix lens.

The project was founded by Patrick Rynne, currently a Ph.D student in Applied marine Physics, as a collaboration between the variety of people surrounding his two primary interests marine science and watersports. The team is composed by kitesurfers, divers, marine scientists and ocean explorers.

Next episode covers a team of near-shore scientists that study rip-currents, surf zone dynamics and self-rescue procedure. Stay tuned!
