Alvaro Onieva and Ruben Lenten robbed

In the last two weeks two of the most popular kitesurfers have been robbed.

On the 13th of January Alvaro was riding in Los Lances, Tarifa, when some guys broke the window of his van and stole all the gear he has on it. The kites were unique prototype and are showed in the photo above.

Currently Ruben is in Langebaan, South Africa. On the night of 17th of January he had is car parked in Table View in the parking garage below his building and it was robbed.

    Man that sucks bad. I cant believe that in such a kiteboarding oriented place like Tarifa, this could happen, though it could happen anywhere. Completely devastating for the riders I’m sure.

    It was worse if they stole me because i work a lot to buy my gear. The Pros not!
