We are proud and stoked to present you the last, but not least, Kitemovement team rider Inês Correia. That’s right, the first ever and so far the only KSP world champion.
Inês was born in 1993 in Lisbon, Portugal. Since she was a little girl she used to practice water sports, today she is a real waterwoman. When she started kitesurfing about seven years ago she immediately got hooked.
In 2008 she conquered the trophy of Portuguese National Junior Champion in Freestyle and Race. In 2009 she succesfully defended the title and managed to conquer a few more in 2010. In 2011 she finished third at PKRA World Championship on Lanzarote and stood on the podium in various Kitewave competitions. Ines finished 2011 in first position on KSP World Ranking and first on Kiteboarding Waveriding World Ranking 2011.
She is determined to defend all of her titles in 2012 and focus more on Freestyle. Her favorite spot is Guincho and she loves fruit salad with yogurt.
We are sure that in the coming years she will stay on the top!
Welcome to the team champion!
